Aroma: Malt, cereal and metallic.
Appearance: Clear dark amber body with a thin beige head that slowly dissipates. Light carbonation. No lacing.
Taste: Like the aroma - roasted malt and metallic. No reaSweet initial flavour then a slight bitterness.
Palate: Thin to medium body with an oily texture. Soft carbonation.
Overall: Not really my sort of beer - malty with muted flavours and low bitterness. A bit boring.

Bottle at Chriso’s Pre-GBBF Shindig, 2012, London. Pours clear, amber-gold with a fine, foamy white head. Bready nose, lots of toasty malts. Medium sweet flavor, big bread, light caramel. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish, light toasty cereal, more bread. It’s sweet and basic - it’s a marzen. Fine.

Bottled@chriso pre-gbbf shindig 2012. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and quite malty as well. Flavour is fruity, sweet malty with some slight grassy and herbal notes. Mild toasted notes in the finish as well. Pleasant festbier, which is a bit fruitier than the usual German beer.
