50cl bottle from Bierzwerg .Poured brown with a beige head, not very lasting. Aroma is ryebread and some toasted notes. Flavor similar, along with some caramel notes in the long finish. Smooth and easy dunkel, very tasty.

Bottle from Bamberg. Pours cloudy golden amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Bread, caramel, grass and grain. Very malty- and smooth. It’s sweet - yet still quite refreshing. A vague note of butterscotch - still quite pleasant!

Bottle from Bacchanalia, Cambridge, 3rd June consumed 5th June 2011 Pours mid brown with white rim. Quite soft in the mouth, touch sweet, malty, bit of biscuit, touch disappointing if I’m being honest, thought it was going to shine more than it did. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov12 3.2

Bottle looks simple, but really good. Beer in the glass also. Dark, really nice head. Starts malty, a bit roasty, hints of caramell and chocolate. Finish is milder, notes are not so intense. Very drinkable and really a great beer!

Bottle. A clear, copper-colored beer topped by a small, off-white head. Malty, caramel nose with some meaty notes and fruityness. The flavor has some caramel, a little hoppy giving fruityness and bitterness. Slightly piney and metallic finish. Medium body. Definitely not my choice of dunkel. 100813
