nice dark color, head dissapears quickly. Aroma is roasted malt, some sweet malt, and hints of coffee. mouthfeel is quite thin, and flavou is pretty non-existant. Not a very nice offering.

Nce red color, nice little rosy head. Aroma is definitely raspberry, but it does smell artificial also.
Flavour is more of the same, that artificial raspberry, and wow, is this ever sweet, its like syrup. Nope, way too sweet, and cloying for me.

on tap at Cafe Volo
dark red/amber color. right off the bat, I can smell the alcohol, with a touch of caramel, and malt. flavour is rich, and malty, with some caramel in there. A nice offering, one of their better beers for sure.

Dull colour. Aroma is that sticky dull malt, with some Weyermann beech smoked on top of that. At least the smoked malt is good…at a proper level. Too bad about the base.

Lime, toasted bread malt, and straw aroma. Golden yellow with nice head and light effervescence. Okay body.

Dullish, slight haze thin head. Sticky and gloppy…not good malt extraction and that constrains the kazbek expression a fair bit, which is problematic in that if you're going to make a pilsner with a relatively unknown hop, I as a drinker want that hop to be showcased.

Dull paleish colour. Sticky, bland. This is mailing in a beer you actually need to raise your level for.
