On tap at the town crier in toronto.
Hazy orange pour, small beige head. Big thik juicy aoma of citruy hops, and some nice bready malts. Flavor is not too intense, the bitterness is a little muted. Really nice fruity finish with a medium bitterness, i was quite impressed.

Volo Cask Days 2009. Ok this one did not work at all. Im not sure what this was oaked in, but after tasting it i thought fr sure they had made a typo and it was supposed to be Smoked Oktoberfest not Oaked. This was loaded with smoky, bacon, and sausage notes. No oak, or anything resembling an oktoberfest to be found.

Hazy orange pour, big white head. Good fruity, citrus aroma, the wheat is definitely there, a touch buttery actually.
Mothfeel is heavy, and im finding ths a little bit of a chore to finish. All the right flavors are there, but it all seems heavy.

A nice hoppy, malty amber ale. A great solid beer that was really satusfying, and refreshing. One of the better beers ive had from this brewery.

Meh a wattery wheat beer with a tart artificial berry/pomegranate flavoring. It was decent and I can see it being a great summertime ice cold beer but other than that it’s pretty forgetable.

On tap at the Angel Inn, September 2010.
Clear red pour, white head.
Not much aroma, just some sweet caramel.
Flavor was wet paper, some more cheap malts, and touches of caramel. Not awful, but nothing to write home about.

Big roasty notes, big sweet bready malts, light bitterness in the finish with more roasty malts in the finish. Touches of coffee and burnt caramel, interesting but a little too roasty.

another brown ale that looks like a stout, very very dark pour with a beige head. Aroma is very very roasty, some nice malt, and coffee, with a touch of chocolate. mouthfeel is a tad wattery, but the flavour is nice, lots f roasty malt, and some chocolate, with a little hops, overall a nice beer. but i would say leaning more towards a stout.

this is more of a lager they added raspberry flavour to. Its still very lagerish, with a subtle raspberry aroma and flavour, still kinda bitter int he finish, and kinda wattery, the raspberry is more in the aroma than the flavour, but overall a decent beer.

THere is a decent hop aroma and flavour in this beer. its not overpowering, but its there. This seems to lend itself more to the masses. I dont get the feeling they are aiming for a true Pale Ale, they are just making it hoppy enough so it doesnt taste macro.
