Bottle. Color: Clear amber, yellowish beige head. Aroma: Malty, caramel and dark malt. Taste: Dense and smooth mouthfeel. Malty. Notes of caramel, candy sugar and hints of chocolate and raisins. Light hints of nuts. Over moderate sweet. Light hopbitterness, going to moderate at the finish, with floral and light citrus hints. Nothing very special, but a very well brewed beer, noticeably made with craftmanship. Nice.

"Saison d'Erpe-Mere", Fläschchen - thanks, Jef! - Lichtes Goldbraun; ganz unmäßiger, zäher Schaum. - In der Nase kandierte Zitronenschale. - Antrunk füllig hellmalzig und solide hopfenbitter mit gedämpfter Zitrusfrucht und deutlicher Pfeffernote. Nur äußerst dezente obergärige Hefe. Milder rezent, vollmundig, leicht kremig. Im Abgang schön trocken und solide pfeffrig hopfenherb. - Angenehm fülliges, aromatisch gehopftes Bier, nicht ganz typisch für ein Saison aber äußerst schmackhaft. Ein guter Start ins neue Bierjahr! Taster at Das Stahl. Pours dark brown, with a big, frothy, khaki head. The aroma is sour cherries, leather, cocoa powder, and lime. Sweet and sugary, and quite sour. The bartender assured me that it was supposed to be sour, and it was surprisingly acceptable, but clearly not intended. Medium body, sticky, and acidic. Odd, but not bad.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Golden body with a faint haze and a few tiny flecks beneath faint haze beneath a thin white head. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon peel and coriander. Flavour of grapefruit peel and lemongrass. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Crisp and zesty.

Xmas bottleshare @Gijs. Pours a dark brown body and a small light beige head. Aroma's of (bourbon) whiskey, boozy, with fruity alcohol retronasal, almost spiritus. Flavour is lightly sour, malty, woody. Medium bodied. Not great.

Bottle from House Of Trembling Madness. Hazy golden body with a few tiny flecks beneath a thin white head. No visible carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of white pepper, coriander and orange pith. Flavour of steel and grass. Medium body with a smooth texture. Light fizz. Crisp and interesting.
