Bottle from Stirchley Wines, Birmingham. Slightly hazy orangey amber pour with a restrained white head. Hops aplenty in the nose alongside some fruit, sweet malt, yeast and booze. Decent fullish mouthfeel. Hoppage and sweet malt tussled for position in the flavour with a warming booze hit. Good beer that has plenty of character, really enjoyed it guvnor.

Bottle @ Chris O’s. Thanks guys. Pours black with a creamy brown head and lacings. Fruit, roast and ashes. Oily and sticky. Very smooth. Nice.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted matl and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel,and alcohol, leading to a dry alcoholic finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma is fruity, dark malty and roasted. Bitter, fruity, citric and mild acidic. Dark roasted and liqourice dense finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Bottle # 312/420. Pours black with a discreet tint of red and a creamy light brown head. Roasty nose with a slight tartness. Medium body, hard roast with a distinct tartness. Dry and malt bitter finish - again tart 180911

Bottle @ Papsø. Pours a hazy orange color with a longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy aroma. Fruity malty and slightly bretty hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty hoppy bretty btter finish.

Bottle 500ml. [ Bottle # 156 of 468 ]. Dark black colour with a huge, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige to light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, chocolate, coffee, wood, coal, smoke, tar. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light heavy bitter with a long to average duration, tar - wood, whisky, dark malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110803]

Bottle @ RBESG Grand Tasting @ Dean Swift, London 2011. Pours cloudy amber with a red hew and a small white head. Roast, ashes and liquorice. Smooth.

Bottled. Black colour, small head. Aroma is liquorice, some mild whisky notes, slight roast and quite much riped fruity notes. Flavour is mild roast, some alcohol, and mild toasted notes.

Bottled@Chriso. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is alcohol, raisins, some fruits, mild whisky notes as well as some slight vanilla. Flavour is quite pleasantly the same along with some plummy notes.
