Full pint as By The Horns Classic Best Bitter 4.2 % abv, cask ale at Duke of Cambridge. Filmy layer, dotted spots on the glassware, clear dark amber body. Inviting smell of mid-sweet malts and leafy hops. Well balanced taste of mild caramel malts, grain, and dried fruits followed by leafy hop bitterness to the ending. Food friendly. From cask at Dog & Bell, Deptford, London. Cloudy straw colour. Diminishing white head. Aroma and taste of pale malt, lemons, marmalade and sweet chocolate orange biscuits.

Can from the Low Cost Beer online shop. Pours lightly hazed yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of kiwi and peppery saison. Taste has the cucumber, floral notes, kiwi. Peppery dry finish.

Cask at The Hare & Billet, Blackheath. Gold pour with a white head. Aromas of peach, tropical fruit, pear drops. Flavours of peach, nectarine, citrus, pear drops. Just a light hop approach. Fruity sweet finish.
