Hand-pulled pint at the Pheasant Inn & Brewhouse, Wellington on Charter Day, 4th March 2023. Drank while judging a 'bun baking' comp. Light golden body, white crown. Citrusy little number in both the aroma and taste, see the hop list for details!

27/1/2023. Cask at the 14th Colchester Winter Ale Festival. Pours clear dark golden amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, dried fruits, slight spiced edge. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily, soft carbonation. Good looking beer, otherwise okay.

Cask at the Duke William, Stourbridge. Pours very dark brown with a small head. Aroma is smoky dark fruits. Taste has chocolate and dark fruits to start with a touch of smoke. Very smooth.

27/12/2022. Can at the ITFC Christmas beer share. From Flavourly.com. Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of lemon, grass, herb, hint of banana. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of tart. Light body, watery, quite fizzy. Wasn't great.

Can from Flavourly. Pours light hazy yellow gold with a thin white head. Aromas of light lemon and mint. Taste is dried herbs and lemon again. Thin finish.

Cask at Hamilton Hall (JDW), near Liverpool St in London. Sampled Feb 2015. Pours orange amber with a beige cap. Aroma: malt, grains. Taste: light sweet & bitter, semi-dry, biscuit malt, a little plastic, somewhat floral. Medium body with soft carbonation. OK
