Bottle shared with JMD on board Fridtjofen at Fjordsteam 03.08.17. Translucent golden. White head and lacing. Interesting, and good, aroma and taste of lemon grass, cardamom, coriander, coconut, pilsner malt and grassy hops.

Cask @ Marquis Of Wellington, Bermondsey, London. Golden with a hop-malt balance and a session texture.

Bottle at the Being Green, Leicester. Mid- to dark gold with a ring bit of white head. Pleasant and engaging floral hop aroma with hay notes. Taste is sour, raw and pretty nasty. Sourness stays though to the finish with some lemon peel in the aftertaste. Nicely carbonated for what it’s worth. Why would they make this?

Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, alcohol. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, sweet malt, candy - biscuit - herbal, light orange. Aroma is moderate malty, sweet malt, pale malt, smoke, moderate hoppy, herbs - tea. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt - candy - flowers, herbs - tea, tea - smoked, sweet tea smoke. Bottle 330ml. [ As By The Horns Horns Crafty Craft Lager ].Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, smoke, light straw - grass. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, sugary malt, light straw, light smoke, vegetable notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20150805] 5-3-5-3-8

Cask @ Kings Arms, Waterloo, London. Very mildly hazed pale ale with a thin head. Has a regular light hoppy dryness with a hint of fruit. It gets a little grittier in its nose.

Cask @ Shakespeare (Lower Temple Street), Birmingham. Golden with a small frothy head. Hopped session ale, ordinary in design and a touch thin.

Bottle at home during election night ’17, 09/06/17. Rich mahogany brown with a decent beige head. Nose is sticky toffee, sweet malts, light spice, slight sickly notes, faint red berries, hint of buttery biscuits. Taste comprises earthy tones, bitter fruits, spice, dusty red berries, light charr, fruit cake, dried fruits. Medium + body, spritzy carbonation, drying close with a rising alcohol level. Lacks depth of flavour and cohesion .. basic fayre for the ABV ... rather course and harsh in places. drain poured most of this @waste of cals.

Bottle 330ml. [ As By The Horns Energy Of The Dark Side ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dusty, glue, raisin, plum, heavy oak and wood. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, peppery, oak, yeast, spicy, dark malt, iron, oat, wine - unbalanced. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.
