Bottle. Pours nearly clear dark amber with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with touches of yeast and hops. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with fruity and hoppy notes and touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty and malty aftertaste with touches of yeast and caramel. Reasonable.

Bottle, 8.5%. Very spicy aroma. Christmas spices, cinnamon en masse. Dark amber colour, almost brown. Seems unclear. Small head. The flavour starts off citric. Followed by more of that spicy thing. Quite sweet. I can drink it, but seems like more of a gag than a serious beer.

Dark amber colour, beige foam. Sweet, notes of caramel, a bit fruity, sweet, light bitter. Very well balanced and nice tripel.

Bottle 33cl. @home poured into a tasting glass. Clear deep golden colour, good frothy white head, half way lasting, fair lasting. Aroma sweet malts, grain, Belgian yeast, peach, light citrus, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, yeast, fruity & spicy notes. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, rather coarse sweetbitter aftertaste, malty and husky notes, bit peppery on the tongue, has a certain freshness but not that special, nice.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a dissipating, beige head. Intense and spicy speculaas aroma. Fairly rich body, sweet caramely malts and then solid speculaas flavours with plenty of brown sugar. Little bitterness. Very much a cookie beer! 030822
