12 ounce bottle. Number one with a bullet. Deep amber orange color. Moderate tight creamy beige head. Toasted malt nose hints at brewed black tea and metal shavings. First sip yields toasted malt with caramel notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Bittersweet piney hops in middle. Notes of dry toast, old walnuts laying in bottom of Entenmann's box and resiny hops. Warming alcohol notes in finish. Bold and flavorful. You Go Girl!

So I added this and until apostrophes are fixed it'll look odd. Not sure how my brother in law dug up this old bottle but for my birthday I was given these vintage Hebrew beers. fine brown pour. nose is little vanilla, chocolate, and booze. Tastes the same cocoa powder, vanilla, hooch, earth, chalk, cinnamon. nice and smooth from aging. pretty tasty.

Bottle from holiday 8 pack. Not sure why this is listed as spice herb vegetable. Pours deep mahogany, with sweet nose of baked goods. Tastes of caramel, cocoa, roasted malts, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, raisins, and wood. Creamy mouthfeel

Draft at RnH West. Mostly clear orange, sheeting lace. Soft hop citrus, some pale malt, a little grain. Decent. Slightly thin. Not sure I’d celebrate a 30th Anniversary of something with this.

22 ounce bottle into snifter, bottled on 9/16/2016. Pours fairly crystal clear deep reddish brown color with a 1-2 finger fairly dense and fluffy light khaki head with good retention, that reduces to a thin lace cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of huge raisin, plum, fig, date, cherry, apricot, pear, red apple, red grape, port wine, vanilla, toasted oak, leather, tobacco, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of toffee, nuttiness, roast, herbal, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Mild booze in the aromas as it warms, but not overwhelming. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of dark/bready malts, fruity yeast, port barrels, and light-moderate earthy hop notes; with great strength. Taste of huge raisin, plum, fig, date, cherry, apricot, pear, red apple, red grape, port wine, vanilla, toasted oak, leather, tobacco, caramel, brown sugar, and toasted brown bread; with lighter notes of toffee, nuttiness, roast, herbal, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness. Light-moderate herbal/peppery hop bitterness and oak/wine tannin spiciness on the finish. Really mild tartness. Lingering notes of dark fruits, apricot, pear, red apple, red grape, port wine, vanilla, toasted oak, leather, tobacco, caramel, brown sugar, toasted brown bread, toffee, nuttiness, herbal, pepper, and yeast/toasted earthiness on the the finish for a while. Incredible complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malts, fruity yeast, port barrels, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; with an awesome malt/bitterness and wine/oak spiciness balance; with zero cloying sweetness after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from bitter/spiciness. Light-medium carbonation and full body; with a smooth, creamy/bready, fairly sticky/tannic, and lightly slick/syrupy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Alcohol is well hidden; a moderate increasing warmth, and mild booze interning after the finish. Overall this is a fantastic barrel aged American barleywine! All around outstanding complexity, robustness, and balance of dark/bready malts, fruity yeast, port barrels, and light-moderate earthy hop flavors; very smooth and dangerously easy to sip on for the huge ABV. Massively complex with perfectly balanced yeast, malts, and port barrel character; without being overly bitter/hoppy. A highly enjoyable offering.

Bomber from Corti Bros. Pours darkly ruddy (against light) with a tan head. Smooth aroma of roasted malt, medium dark fruit and bourbon. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is treacle, fruits that are not pale, a hint of wood, and that good ol’ bourbon/vanilla thing. Heat isn’t an issue. Finishes not dry, and hardly bitter.Tastes good!

Draught @ Barcade. Clear golden with creamy off-white head, very faint citrus aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter sour yeasty taste, thin body, long finish. The tartness is not really pleasant.
