Pours a hazy brown from a bottle, some floaties. Brown sugar aroma, tropical fruits. Similar flavor, a little bananas-foster-ish, with an interesting overlay of piney hops. Okay beer.

650ml bottle. Pours a clear, dark reddish brown with a large, frothy, long lasting, tan head that laces. Sweet aroma of dates, figs, bready malt, caramel, spice and yeast. Sweet flavour of dates, figs, brown sugar, caramel, bread and yeast with a dry, spicy, light boozy finish. Medium body with a smooth, oily texture and soft carbonation. Pretty decent.

22 oz bottle from State Line (a while ago) that I have pulled from the back of the fridge, 10/18/15. It pours a dark brown color with a thick, creamy froth of tan head on top. The coffee and chocolate come through in the aroma and the taste. There's a bit of a raisin/dark fruit thing as well. Oak shows up here and there, but isn't predominant. Smooth mouthfeel, rather creamy. I'm not sure exactly what affect the age has had on this one, but it shows nothing that I can see would have been obviously hurt by the time. Nice beer.

Pours mahogany into a shaker. Mocha head with good retention recedes leaving spider lacing. Licorice and chocolate aromas. Soft with muted chocolate and bitter espresso upfront turning to soy and licorice in the lasting finish. Aged... but still enjoyable.

Pour is a almost black with a small tan head. Aroma is a nice full pumpkin pie spice with some of those cocoa nibs coming thru. Flavor is a silky chocolate with the pumpkin pie spices. No real roasted malt or anything from the chili peppers. A decent pumpkin spice and the chocolate and cocoa nibs make this a decent beer.

Draft at Barcade. Cloudy dark owner color with a thin head and drippy lacing. Strongly bitter/hoppy aroma. Bitter and boozy. Lacks from not being super well rounded. Dry close. Okay, but could use some sort of balancing something to make it feel more like a well crafted brew.

Beertopia 2015 #4. Clear deep amber copper pour. Aroma is super oily malty. Tastes like hop candy in heavy malt. Not great.

I never knew that the state of New York was so well represented in the world of pumpkin beer. Draft pour at the Great Pumpkin beer festival. Pours a dark oily copper color with a thin film head. Yeast forward aroma. Flavor is spice forward, the expected pumpkin, and a little floral. I got this for the advertised pepper but I didn’t pick up any. Minty, pumpkin finish. Add more pepper and this beer will stand out to me. Decent beer.
