500 ml bottle. Pours a clear gold with light head. Aromas of light smoke, wood, and light malts. Flavors of very watery smoky scotch and fruit. Not sure what this is but its easy to quaff.

Cask at Archibald Simpson’s, Aberdeen. It pours golden amber with a medium white head. The nose is grainy, dough, faint floral and citrus peel. The taste is sweet, doughy, brioche, grain and floral/grassy notes and mild bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A pretty dull affair and a mile away from the "jaw-dropping bitterness" they advertise.

500ml bottle at home. Dark brown pour, no head. Coffee, raisin, oat aromas. Taste has more of the same, plus a fruity plum note. Sweet finish. Thin.

Cask at The White Lady. Pours pale golden yellow with a thick white head, nice lacing. Aromas of cereal, not much else. Taste has toffee, then a light sour note. Not very good.

Cask at a JDW establishment - in think the Metropolitan Bar in London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy, white head. The nose holds dough and lemon. Light sweet flavor with faint tangy lemon and light straw bitterness. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Creamy and doughy malts in the ending with slight lemon rind and dirty hay. OK.

500ml bottle at home. Pours clear yellow gold, little to no head. Smells of hay, butterscotch and soap. Lord only knows where the citra went. I imagine it was filtered and pasteurised out of existence. Watery and dull, bordering on offensive.

500ml bottle at home. Pours copper brown with little to no head. Aromas are all malt, toffee, caramel, biscuit. Very light floral note. Sweet taste, thin on the palate. Pretty dull.
