Description
The process of brewing beer hasn’t changed much since we started back in 1777. And neither has our unique approach to crafting characterful beer. But our equipment most certainly has.

Our state-of-the-art, independent, family-owned brewery now stands proudly alongside our old brewery on the banks of the River Stour in Blandford, Dorset. Using the finest ingredients and over 240 years of expertise, our brewers create beer that brims with flavour.

Bottle from Eltham Wines. Nose is peach, passionfruit, apricot. Fruity bittersweet action. Doesn't set the world alight but competent enough.

Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Clear ruby body with a beige head that holds well. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of strawberry syrup, roasted malt and copper. Flavour of raspberry and liquorice. Medium body with a slick mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Sweet and tart. I can see why others aren’t keen but I quite like this.

Can from Sainsbury's, Wycombe. Very pale yellow with a light haze and a white head. Sweetcorn, urine, green leaves and white pepper. Clammy mouthfeel with a prickly fizz. Drying finish with a lasting unpleasant aftertaste of gone-off lemons. One of the shittiest beers in Badger's extensive range of shit beers.

Thick biscuity malts, a good dose of zesty hops. Some lemon zest, even lime, touches of spice, some corriander. Good mouthfeel, light carb, light bitter finish, with a good pale bready malt aftertaste, decent stuff, i liked it.

Raising my tankard to the SAS I tried this beer. Great pour with an amazing clarity in the tankard. Really rich malt and hops that just form a party on the tastebuds. Lovely.
