Cask at GBBF 2006. Slight haze/gold, no head. Badger yeast citrus aroma. It’s a yeasty and ctruis beer with a bit of elderflower. Similar to their other beers. Fruit is quite juicy. It’s alright.

Bottled. Clear, sparkling, golden ale with a nice off-white head. Sweet, malty and caramelly aroma, almost like butterscotch. There is some hops too. The flavor is malty, a bit break-like, and hoppy, with a hoppy and a bit metallic finish. Medium bodied. The flavor is a bit boring, therefore only a five-score. Maybe there could be a little less carbonation too, but overall, it is quite quaffable. (060817)

Bottled. Deep golden, well-carbonated, and with a nice, off-white head. The aroma is peach-dominated, with hops and malt in the background. Lightly peachy flavor, where the maltiness is more pronounced than in the aroma. There are hops too, but they are easier found in the finish. Quite sweetish and thin-bodied. Works probably best served chilled as a thirst-quencher. The peach aroma first reminded me of a commercial peach-lambic, but there are no similarities other than that, and maybe the sweetness. Bottled. Clear golden, with a small white head. Malt and hops in the aroma, with the malt dominating. Hops, malt and hints of caramel in the flavor. Medium body. I would like to see a more agressive hopping all the way in this one. Rating: 5-4-5-3-12-2.9. (060720)
Bottle. A clear, copper beer with a finger-thick off-white head. Biscuity, fruity nose with citrus and a faint note of fennel. Dry, caramel and biscuit flavor with a decent hop impact giving citrus and grass. Some sweetness, but mostly dry. Medium body, and a caramel finish with citrus, some bitterness and once again some fennel. A decent bitter, sessionable and quenching, but I prefer my beers hoppier. (090708)

Cask@Prince Edward, Bayswater, London. Dark copper brown, small creamy off-white head. Nutty buttery sweet aroma. Nutty soft mouthfeel, a bit hard hoppy finish. Hops rise more in the aftertaste, which is good and lasting. Nice as being only 3,5%.

Bottled. Clear amber brown color, small white head. Nose has leather, cardboard and some dark dried fruits. Carbonated mouthfeel. Solid oaky, malty with dried fruits and hints of hops. Alcohol in the aftertaste.

Bottled. Light copper brown, decent creamy white head, some lace. Aroma is dominated by leather and malts. Leathery malty flavor with some hop presence. Medium-bodied. Reminds me abotu some Eastern European lagers.

Cask. Dark golden, clear ale with no head. Weak, malty aroma. The flavor is more on the fruity side, with caramel and malt as well. Thin body and a malty finish with some fruityness. (060712)
