500ml bottle from Sainsbury's - deep black body with a short tan head. Big coffee and chocolate nose, sweet start with loads of roasty notes. Probably the best I've had from the Badger boys.

500ml bottle @ The Hive. Clear gold appearance, white head. Floral hop aroma. Taste presents a good hop bite for a trad pale, nice floral hop, pale malt base with a solid boiled sweet fruitiness throughout. Decent.

Draft at a pub in London. Muddled amber pour and small sudsy head. Nose is malt. Tastes of malt, pleather, some brown sugar, dark bread. Light bodied. Easy drinking.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from Waitrose. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white head. Light-medium sweet, simple pale biscuits, nips of white bread, English yeast, straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet and simple finish. Tasty, easygoing.

Bottle from Sainsburys, Eltham. Black pour with a beige head. Nice aromas of chocolate wafer, coffee,caramel,butterscotch.Taste is very much the same. Long sweet malty approach with a tinge of bitterness. Badger beers tend to be very bland or artificial for me.This is the best one I've had from them for many a moon.

Bottle next door celebrating the Summer Solstice, thanks to Michael, 21/06/23. Golden to light copper with a decent lasting white head. Nose is grass, herb, hedgerow, light citric zip. Taste comprises lemon sherbets, straw, herb, hedgerow, grass, airy malts, toasted grains. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with leafy hop bitterness. Ok refreshing golde with a slightly rustic/earthy edge.

Tap @ Patricks. Almost clear, amber body under a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has biscuit malt, toffee and citric fruity hops. Taste as expected from aroma, smooth medium sweet biscuit malt, light toffee, citric fruit and decent bitterness. Balanced body and nice aftertaste. Quite straight forward, well made old school IPA.

Tap at Konttori. Golden, firm medium-sized off-white head. Flowery, citrus, honeyish aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus, pale malts, honey, flowerness. Quite English characters. English IPA for me.

7-4-6-4-13 On tap @ Bergen Craft Beer Fest 23. Pours golden, with a creamy head. Aroma is roasted malts with bread and honey, as well as earthy hops with marmalade and minerals herbal notes. Medium to full body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is bready malts with toffee, as well as earthy hops with herbal notes and marmalade. Dry finish.
