Poured from a 510 ml bottle. Aroma is malt forward with lots of toasted bread, caramel and toffee notes with hints of chocolate and roast. Light bourbon and faint oak notes with light alcohol notes. Hints of dark fruit notes. Pours dark brown, almost black with some brown hues on the edges. Small, thick, light mocha head that recedes quickly to a small film that lingers on the edges. Flavor is somewhat sweet with lots of caramel and toffee. Lighter notes of toasted bread, chocolate, and roast. A bit of a burnt sugar character. Moderately strong bitterness and medium light alcohol warmth. Light prune and date notes with hints of raisin. Light bourbon and hints of oak. Mouthfeel is full bodied and a bit sticky with medium low carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, an alright beer but not a great one. Solid malt character, but it's a bit darker and vinous compared to Limitations.

Poured from a 510 ml bottle. Aroma is definitely malt forward with lots of honey wheat bread notes along with some toffee, dark caramel, graham crackers and hints of chocolate and nuts. Medium light raisin and date notes with hints of prunes. Light bourbon and alcohol notes with faint oak. Pours a dark brown that's not quite black with brown hues on the edges with a medium small, fairly thick, dark tan head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and long legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with lots of dark caramel, toffee, toasted honey wheat bread, and graham crackers with lighter notes of chocolate and nuts. Moderate bitterness and medium light alcohol notes. Light bourbon and hints of oak. Medium light raisin, prune and date notes. Mouthfeel is full bodied and sticky sweet with medium light carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth. Overall, another great munichwine from PP. Nice, somewhat sticky, full mouthfeel with well hidden alcohol notes. Great malt character with complimentary bourbon and barrel notes.
