33cl bottle. Pours near black with a dark brown head. Lots of chocolate, cocoa at first, some roastedness and maybe some oatmeal. Inviting aroma really. Taste then, quite similar with chocolate being most evident, espresso notes as it warms up a little. Roasted and dry finish. Can’t really detect the Citra here, but you sure know it is well hopped. For this abv, this is quite marvellous. Thumbs up!

Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Pours nearly black with a light brown head. Aroma of hard roasted malt, coffee, little dark chocolate, light sourness and a hint of vegetables. Flavor is heavy roasted malts, strong coffee, dry and a little sourness, hint of chocolate, vegetables, green beans. Thin body, soft carbonation, roasted and dry finish. 170114

Bottle @ Voldby tasting. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of light malt, flowers, grassy hops, elderflowers. Flavor is malt, grassy hops, little herbs, flowers, light sourness. Thin to medium body, average carbonation. 170114

sample at Voldby. Creamy lightbrown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Coffee notes. Moderate bitter flavor. Coffee dominating roast. Average moderate bitter finish. Oily palate. Way too much coffee.

Sample at Voldby. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and heavy hoppy wonderfull aroma. Grassy. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Long moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate. Wonderfull ESB!

Bottle. Clear golden with medium tan head. Aroma is malt, fruit, hop, yeast and caramel. Flavour is malt, yest, fruit, little over carbonated, hop, medium sweet, caramel and medium bitter.

Bottled. Dark color, short head. Aroma of coffee, biscuit, chocolate, flowery and citrussy hop, bit spicy. Bit dry, bit sweet in taste, medium bitter. Easy drinker, lots of flavor. Good stuff.

Ladna etykieta z fotokrafia czarnej kobiety, a wlasciwie twarzy. Piwo tez czarne i prawie nie przezroczyste, tylko z malenkim czerwonawym przeswitem. Piany za to brak, jak na stouta powinno byc jej sporo, kolory brazowego i jest gruboziarnista. Jesli chodzi o zapach to Citra na pierwszym planie dominuje i przytlacza palonosc tego stouta, niby w stylu Angielskim, hmm z chmielem amerykanskim, alkohol na poziomie brytyjskim. To lekki stout z niewyczuwalna palonoscia ktora tak lubie w stoutach. Bardziiej przypominalo mi Black IPA niz stouta angielskiego. Lubie za aromatycznosc ale przesadzono tu chyba z tymi chmielami, powinna byc jakas rownowaga miedzy palonoscia stoutu a smakiem chmielu. Lekkie rozczarowanie.

Flaska från Belgoklubben. Mörk kopparfärgad vätska med gräddvitt skum. Fruktig, bärig doft med tydliga inslag av russin. Maltig smak. Fyllig munkänsla och medellång eftersmak.
