75cl bottle @ home shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy amber color, average sized off-white to beige, a bit creamy head. Smell a light sour hint, a light sweetish hint, but mostly red winey. Taste malts, wine and something else I can’t wuite put my finger on. Medium body, medium carbo.

Bottle thx to benzai. Copper to ruby colour with a medium, creamy off-white head. Smells overwhelmingly sweet, alcohol, red wine, very malty and some hops. Tastes white wine, barley, malts, sweet. Full body, okay carbo. It?s a good beer, but at the same time very much not what i like.

Bottled. A black beer with a dark brown head. The aroma has notes of alcohol, cognac, roasted malt, annd chocolate. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roasted malt, chocolate, and a bit of cognac, leading to a dry and roasted finish. The flavor seizes fast.

Draught Huge, very fine & dense off-white head over clear metallic golden beer; rings of lace. Aromatic hops, faint but pleasing, with rosewater, grapes and slightly (luxury)soapy. Sweet pale malts and piquant, nearly peppery hops. Superb combination, but unfortunatley slightly clashing, rather than blending. Banana ester, with sweetness smothered by the hopbitterness. Quite slick, even film-y. Light to medium bodied. Alcohol not heating, but seems quite present, much more than expected for such a beer. I’m going to shock the Walloon fanatics, but I think Toccalmatto must have had a beneficial influence;..
