440ml can. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a very short-lived, fizzy white head. The aroma is malt, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a light, crisp, mango, passionfruit, light woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not too bad. Certainly no complaints. Represents very decent value for a supermarket beer.

Can from Home Bargains, Salford. Darker clear amber with a frothy head. Quite bitter in design but with a hoppy edge. Certainly a red ale in design.

Can from Home Bargains (the Crewe branch I think) – drank at home. Pours a dark copper with a large, frothy but transient slightly yellowish head. Malts to the fore in the aroma alongside treacle, toffee and hints of citrus. More malts and caramel are the initial sensations in the mouth, quickly followed by oats and then some tangerine fruitiness. Some bitterness comes out in the finish though. An unusual, enjoyable beer that is difficult to categorise.

Can thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - cloudy amber to brown. Foamy, beige head. Nose - definitely getting the bitter orange, and some warming wood spice. Taste - bitter orange, orange liqueur and cinnamon. Palate - medium bodied, creamy middle and dry, slightly bitter finish. Overall - better than the other reviewers seem to be implying.

Clear champagne colour with no head. Nice initial aroma of slightly funky apple must. Starts slightly tangy then sweetens up in the finish.

Can from Home Bargains, Inverurie. It pours clear deep reddish - dark amber with a dissipating khaki head. The aroma is sweet, sticky, candied orange, orange marmalade, cola cubes, warming spice, cinnamon, big red chewing gum, clove rock and candy cane. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty grain, brown bread, earthy, warming festive spice, cinnamon, tree bark, earthy, light tannin, bitter orange peel, pithy, zesty and slightly medicinal vibes with a drying finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Not bad.
