Can from Home Bargains. Light hazy gold with small white head, decent retention. Aroma of mango, not sure if there is an underripe or overripe element but it has a certain funkiness. Taste is mainly mango, slight citrus zest note, quite piney-bitter in the finish, but funky aftertaste is somewhat unpleasant. Slick mouthfeel with highish carbonation works ok. Not great but not a disaster.

Can from Home Bargains. Pours murky red tinged brown with thin fizzy head. Decent chocolate and sweet vanilla aroma; simple but inviting. Taste is the same, some bitterness and light dusty cocoa dryness in the finish. Light bodied but easy to drink. This is what brewing to low price point should be about. It might not be complex but its still tasty unlike their mango pale.

440ml can. Light cloudy gold pour, small white head, modest retention. Aroma is quite malty, some raisins and citrus. Taste is biscuit, semi-sweet, slight fruity hop, a little thin, mild bitter bite, some grain. Light bodied. Its pretty good for what it is, slightly better than I was expecting

330ml can. Bright clear gold, small big bubbled head, minor retention. Aroma of biscuit malts, with mild citrus and passionfruit notes. Taste is same but overly bitter without enough sweetness or fruity hop notes to compensate, unbalanced. Mouthfeel is ok, light to medium bodied, moderate carbonation. Could be better.

330ml can. Hazy light gold, brief fizzy head with no retention; not a great start. Aroma of grapefruit yeast bubblegum; distinctive but not great. Taste is like a sour grapefruit beer and not a very good one but I've had worse. I didn't find it a drain pour.

Now showing as Microbrew Hazy IPA but same can design and hops used. ABV down slightly to 3.7%. Pours a cloudy dull orange, moderate sized white head, average retention. Pale malts, slightly grainy, sweet, peach floral hops, grassy, some citrus. Tangy resin noted and malt finish. Fairly smooth body for the strength. Surprisingly good to be fair.

440ml can. Poured a deep reddish amber with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is caramel malt, resin hops. The flavour is over moderate bitter, light sweet, with a crisp, toffee caramel, earthy, resin, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
