Very pale colour with no head. Aroma has a little bit of funky apple. Very sweet to start with but dries out a little. A bit tangy too.

440ml can. Dark brown with a short-lived, beige, head. Aroma of powdered chocolate with a hint of sweet orange in the background. Light mouth feel, with flavours of sweet cocoa, oak and some more concentrated orange, before a short finish. Ok, but one is quite enough.

440ml can. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light chocolate. The flavour is moderate to light sweet and liqourice bitter, with a smooth, slightly watery, light sweet chocolate, liqourice bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] An attractive reddish copper pour with a fast fading white head; aroma of fruity malts; rather thin in the mouth, but full of red fruit flavours to start, then some sweet chocolate syrup before a woody bitterness with a touch of resin. Very drinkable.

[44cl can from Home Bargains, Bracknell.] A hazy pale amber pour with a thick white head; light floral aroma with some tropical fruits; light fruity taste with some melon and grape and a chewy malt body; before a rather thin finish.

440ml can: BB 7th May 2023. Poured into an old Gordon's thistle shaped glass at home on a very chilly 24th January 2023. Fast fading beige head on both pours, body very dark brown with a maroon hue. Rye may well be used, certainly had a spiced Rye aroma and taste. Cherry like sweetness as well, all a bit unbalanced and slightly strange flavours coming through. Body depth is a little thin for a 'Winter Stout', think 'Vimto'.
