Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 16/07/23 Clear light yellow with no head. Nose is melon, honey, sugars, floral notes. Taste comprises sugars, water melon, perfume, light herb, honey, just a trace of elderflower. Full bodied, oily feel, semi drying close with a spike of alcohol. Okay functional mead ... nothing to revisit for me ... would have liked more elderflower presence.

Bottle at home picked up from HOTM. A clear pale petrol coloured pour with a not head. Aroma is semi sweet, white sugar, floral notes, lychee, some alcohol, waxy notes. Flavour is composed of semisweet, clean clear honey, white sugars, mellow floral notes, elderflower, lychee, light spicy finish. Palate is semi swet, oily, almost no carbonation. Hides the alcohol pretty well, Not bad.

Bottle from Northumbrian Gifts. Pours clear still red. Aromas of blackcurrant and boiled sweets, light sulphur. Taste is more of the same. Definitely a bit eggy, but not as bad as the last one I had from them.
