5/11/2022. Draught at Lord Nelson Hotel, The Rocks, Sydney. 5.0% abv. Pours almost black with a small foamy off-white to beige head. Aroma is light cocoa, caramel, roasted malt, dark fruits. Moderate sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, quite fizzy. Nice aroma but over-carbonated.

5/11/2022. Draught at Lord Nelson Hotel, The Rocks, Sydney. Pours clear very dark maroon brown with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of chocolate, cocoa, caramel, roasted malt, dark fruits. Medium sweetness and moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily, slightly prickly carbonation. Pretty decent.

5/11/2022. Draught at Lord Nelson Hotel, The Rocks, Sydney. Pours slightly hazy pale amber with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, hops, fruit, dried fruit and biscuit. Moderate sweetness and bitterness with light spicy peppery notes. Moderate body, average carbonation. Quite enjoyable.

Draft at the brew-pub Jan 2018, from historic notes. A beer described on the font as 'an English Bitter'. Pours lightly hazed pale golden with a white head. Aroma: biscuit malts, light earthy hops. Taste: light sweet, more biscuit malts, caramel hints, a little floral. Light body with average carbonation
