Description
Note:- When adding new beers there is a good chance they are from the 'White Label Series' (WLS) so please add in this format with WLS number first then beer name.

Orbit Beers grew from a passion for travel, music and beer. A journey around all the breweries in Scotland in a classic VW campervan named Brian sparked a desire to return to London and begin a new journey. We moved into our double railway arch in Walworth, South London and Orbit Beers was born. Our first beer was brewed on 1st July 2014 at our home here in SE17.

We value our independence. We are independent in the way we think about our beers, timeless styles brewed with an eye for balance and finesse. Our work is inspired by the ethos of our favourite independent record labels, who hold music and art above all else. We are Orbit Beers, we encourage you to listen, think, and drink independent.

33cl bottle conditioned, from Cotteridge Wines: poured into a Hannan Alt glass at home on 12th July 2015. Slight haze to the reddy brown body, thin off-white head on top of both pours. Mild nutty feel to the malty aroma and taste. Semi-sweet with a good bitter backbone: drying finish. Decent.

Keg at the Euston tap. Milky yellow / green coloured pour with a thin fading film of white head. Aroma is odd, lime citrus, bile, parmesan cheese, maybe. Flavour is composed of wheaty grains, lime zesty citrus, Parmesan cheese, funk. Palate is semi crisp, tart acidic bite, grainy. I didnโ€™t really detect any elderflower. Maybe a little in the nose as I swirl the glass. Interesting beer.

Three Johnโ€™s Islington. Cloudy gold white collar. Dry hop over takes the Hefeweizen character. Really hoppy and dry on the finish. Lacks a little of that fruity character. No esters.

The nose is soft, doughy, grain husk, cereal and sweet lemon. The taste is crisp, bitter, cereal, toasty grain, breads, lemon rind, orange zest, peppery spice, straw and minerals with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp, soft and quite delicate. Rather good stuff. Quality session quaffing ale.

Bottle from London Beer Lab. Golden amber with a lasting white head and a light fizz. Yeasty and fruity with definite tinned strawberry and some blackcurrant. Bread and honey and minerals. Dry finish with a mild bitterness. Quite flavoursome but ultimately a little too minerally for my liking.
