Pours a deep brown colour wirh a rocky brown head that has little retention. Aromas''s of sweet malts, dried fruit, Belgian yeast, brown sugar. Retronasal it's sweetish, toffee, fruit, light spices. Flavour is above moderate sweet, light bitter. Medium bodied. Warming alcohol. Good carbonation. Long finish with increasing bitterness.

Spencer India Pale Ale, 355-ml-Fläschchen (MHD: 22.10.22) von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Goldbraun, trüb; üppiger und dauerhafter Schaum. - In der Nase kräftige aber gediegene, trocken zitrusfruchtige Hopfung mit deutlicher Altersnote aber gerade deswegen reizvoll. - Antrunk füllig weich und knackig hopfenbitter mit alten Hopfenaromen von kerniger Zitrusfrucht, Zitronenöl, Bitterorange. Schwerer Malzkörper mit tiefer Süße, Honig. Milder rezent, vollmundig, tief. Im Abgang satte zitrusfruchtig-harzige Hopfenbittere. - Außerordentlich gediegenes, satt malztiefes und wuchtig hopfenbitteres IPA, dem leichte Altersspuren zusätzlichen Reiz verleihen; trotz intensiver Hopfung rund und reich. Vielleicht bedurfte es der langen Lagerung, um sein ganzes Potential zu entfalten. (15.10.2022.)

Bottle, 10.2%. Brown sugar aroma. Cloudy dark brown colour. Good stable creamy off-white head. The flavour is sweet and spicy. Distinct spicy maltiness. Warming alcohol finish with tobacco and more spicy malts. Creamy mouthfeel.

330 mL bottle dated August 10, 2019. Overcarbonated like the first two bottles I opened, but I was ready this time. A very deep red pour with a lot of debris and an off-white head. Spicy aromas (ginger, clove, nutmeg), malty with grape and molasses. Flavor has the clove, ginger spices, with dark malty molasses and green and red grape. Medium body, a bit lighter than the ABV would suggest. It's quite good.

If this is good I will buy more for aging. Smell-weak malt, caramel, butrned sugar, plums, cake, honey, nice. Foam-thin, caramel, sweetness, alcohol, bitterness, and more caramel, burned sugar, warmth. Head is medium-sized, brown-white color, fine. Sticks. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, classic label, hazy dark ruby color, seems some sediment in. From - snifter Taste-caramel, bitterness, sweetness, burned sugar, malt, alcohol. Very nice one, I will definitely go back to buy more as the brewery is closing down. Good stuff, rounded up score a bit.

Orange. lemon, biscuit malt, and orange peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large off-white head. Moderately sweet orange. lemon, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter orange peel flavor. Good body. Nice citrus flavor.
