The aromas are caramel malt, dark malt, black patent, roast, and a little barnyard. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, barnyard drops to the back, nice portrayal of bitter, sweet, with the roast toast and cocoa coming out. Great body and carbonation. A little wine in the finish and the barnyard comes out a bit more also.

One of their better beers. The aromas are dark malt, caramel malt, candy sugar, wine and a touch of raisins. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, a little more sweet than bitter, with just right carbonation to balance. Finish is sweet going bitter and slightly boozy.

Bottle, 8.7%. Roasted, citric and fruity aroma. Almost black colour. Seems unclear. Semi-stable light brown head. The flavour is roasted, fruity, vinous, sweetish with a fruity, roasted and jammy finish. Hoppy notes and a late mild coffee aftertaste.

Pretty good Vienna lager. Has a malty toasty character but a touch crisp in carbonation and thin in body. Still pretty good stuff.
