Black with a tan cap that retains.
Nose is chocolate, dark malts, vanilla, mellow roast.
Taste comprises chocolate, mellow roast, toffee fudge, molasses, brown sugar melt.
Full bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a lick of booze.
Tidy enough old skool sipper but I perhaps expected a touch more here.

Half pint from the cask at the brewery. Pours a clear light brown with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, chocolate, hints of spice & malt. Moderate body. Light bitter finish.

440ml can from Middle Farm, Firle and shared in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a murky light yellow golden colour with a thin white head. The aroma is grainy, tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate sweet and bitter, with a fresh, smooth, mineral, juicy tropical citrus, mango pineapple, light hop bitter palate. Over medium bodied with average to soft carbonation. A rather simple beer but exceptionally well made.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a beige/tan head. Aroma of roast and chocolate malts with prominent hoppiness, pine and citrus peel. Taste is similarly very hoppy with BIPA like profile of pine and grapefruit, robust malt base of roast and chocolate, moderate bitterness. Medium-full bodied, smooth. Beautiful.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close splashed with juicy hop bitterness.
Decent IPA.
