Can from the Thirst Class Brewery Webshop. Aromas of blueberry jam, maple, raisin, touch of coffee. Taste is maple, coffee cake, liquorice toffee, blackberry jam, blueberries. Quite medicinal. Sweet dark fruit action with a tinge of bitterness.

Can at the Strait and Narrow. Jet black colour with a thick tan head. Aroma and taste are mallow sweet, backed up by roasted coffee bitterness. Plenty of fruity blueberries. Rich full body.

20th March 2023. Monthly Beer Share, Chez Sophie in Shrewsbury; five guys who love beer and talk bollox while drinking. Cheers Mike for the penultimate beer of the evening, a 440ml can of this. Murky purple body with a red hue, no head worthy of mention. It's like a red berry smoothie I suppose, a bit too much for me, semi-sour and 'thick'.

440ml can @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, March 23. Hazed reddish purple appearance, sparse off-white head. Thick smoothie-like body with an assorted red berries fruitiness complimented by smooth lactose. Nicely balanced, lovely.

Keg at Heist Brew Taproom, Ratebeer Sheffield mini-gathering 04Mar2023. Black colour, no lasting head, and aroma of dark malt, chocolate & coffee. Taste is dark malty, ashy, earthy, chocolate & coffee, spices, with earthy bitterness. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, roasty finish. Nicely drinkable.

Taste is sweetish malty, biscuit, dried fruit, caramel, hints of chocolate & spice, some bitterness. Light to medium bodied, soft carbonation, malty finish. Quite drinkable.
