Cask at Catford Bridge Tavern, SE London. A dark golden coloured pour with a small white head on top. Hoppy, malty aroma. Tastes hoppy, quite malty, slightly fruity. Nice.

Cask (gravity) @ Cambridge Winter Ale Festival 2013, at the University Social Club, Mill Lane, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England CB2 1RX.Clear light to medium yellow color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate hoppy, citrus, lemon, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, lemon - citrus, hoppy, citrus. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130119]

Cask-conditioned at the Beer Emporium, Bristol 14/8/2013. Deep amber in colour with a decent, off-white head. Malty bitter, with some bready notes, hedgerow fruits and a touch of leafy hop, before a lingering, bitter finish. Fine.

Cask at the Maypole, Cambridge. It pours clear deep amber with a small white head. The nose is earth, wood, leather, light varnish and light spice. The taste is wood, earth, spice, brown bread, tangy berry and a touch of caramel. Medium body and soft carbonation. Ok.
