Dark ruby brown, with caramel and dark fruit aroma. As syrupy as it gets! Malt, dates, underlying boozy taste followed by cloying malty finish. Not sure what style this actually should fall under.

Backlog May 2009. Bottle as Spirit of hemp. Golden body under a small white head. Mild aroma of corn, grain, grass and slightly herbal. Taste is quite mild, light malt, grass, a herbal touch, slightly fruity and moderate bitterness. Thin body with short aftertaste. Not much going on here.

Never been a fan of normal Samichlaus but let's see. Neck label says 2022. 10ºC was good to start but probably warmed too much. Very dark brown, a tan head just survives the pour. Aroma of chocolate, strong bread, dried fruit. Overtly boozy with dried fruit, brown sugar, some spices, a little bitterness. Lacks body and depth but OK.

7fiddy at home. It pours hazy deep red with a decent off - white head. The aroma is smooth, malt - driven, rather fruity, red berries, cranberry, jammy berry rolly polly, fruit cake and bready malt. The taste is smooth, chewy, toothy, bitter - sweet, dried fruits, raisin, sultana, cranberry, raspberry, toasty spice, warming booze, slightly medicinal, smokey, charred vibes and leather with a drying, chewy finish. Fulsome body and moderate carbonation. A fun toothy malt bomb.

Anaranjada, ligeramente turbia. Un dedo de espuma, de retención correcta, que deja película. Aroma agradable, notas de naranja y especiadas. En boca es oleosa, suave, de cuerpo moderado. Sabor muy agradable, de base malteada, pero predominio de notas frutales, naranja amarga, miel y especias. Se disfruta bien de en la sobremesa.
