Pours a deep golden color with a smattering of bubbles that form a ring on top of the glass. Smells sweet and sugary. Lots of honey, light fruits and a hint of alcohol on the nose. Taste is quite sweet and sticky on the mouth. Honey, licorice and light sweet fruits in the flavor. Medium to thick body, still with a few bubbles and a sweet almost sticky mouthfeel. Decent mead maybe a little one dimensional.

Tightly corked little 375. Lacquered orange amber body. Just a tiny bit of something in suspension. Faint ring of remaining suds. Smells like peach yogurt mixed up with strawberry preserves, with floral honey & warming alcohol tickling my sinuses. Sharp & bittersweet green/minerally taste upfront. Year old bottle & I can’t pick out the strawberries. Almost tastes & feels like a really light & fruity, young blush wine. Touch more peach. A little acidic. Body is pretty thin. Really leafy & floral. Itty bit of vanilla. Yeasty, bittersweet, zesty finish. Not much sweetness. Interesting.

$15.99 375ml bottle with a particularly difficult cork. Pours a deep red to purple hue. Not quite as inky as a cab or syrah but closer to a barolo. Some trace bubbles around the side. Decent legs. Very jammy aroma. Lightly vegital (I sometimes get this with currants), dark fruits, currants, earthy, pepper, tobacco, red wine, honey, perfume and a light hint of fudge. Flavors of raspberries, cherries, currants. Lightly medicinal/chloroseptic like before it opens up fully. Juicy, a bit boozy. Quite a fair amount of acid. Overall mildly tart, mild tannins. Strong berry presence. Lightly peppery alcohol. Warming. Minimal, but some effervescence (seems to have refermented a little bit in the bottle). Medium to full body. Big!

Bottle ($22.19 375ml). Pours with a clear golden body with strong legs. Still. Aromas of huge, spicy coffee. Lightly vegital, peppery, tobacco, vanilla, honey, earthy. A hint of acidity. A bubblegum like ester. Really different. Minimal alcohol. Flavors are ... wow. Interesting! Rich, earthy, spicy coffee. Huge tobacco notes. Vanilla creamer. A very interesting coffee experience. Medium sweet. Light tannin and a touch of acidity in the finish that helps balance the sweetness nicely. Well constructed on that account. A faint hint of smoke from the coffee. Medium to slightly full bodied for a mead. Good viscosity. Still. Not hot at all. Possibly a good cigar mead right here. Really good, very unique!

$15.99 375ml. Pours with a mostly clear orange hue with strong legs. A few stray bubbles towards the side of the glass (odd). Aromas of dried fruit, apricot, tea, honey (lightly spicy), nectarine, pear and light alcohol notes. Flavors show some very nice apricot flavors (like an apricot tart). Very juicy. Medium-sweet balance. Good/decently strong acidity. Slightly grassy honey profile. Finishes a bit tannic. Fruit flavors are quite juicy. A very very light effervescence (seems to have refermented a slightly in the bottle). Slight tannic edge, that makes the finish feel a bit drier than it otherwise might be. Medium to slightly full body (for a mead). Tasty.
