Bottle. Pours with a flat, clear golden hue body, with mild legs. Somewhat generic. Aromas are of lots of acid, citric, apple pie, lemon juice, fresh apple pulp, light cinnamon, mild vanilla. Tons of vanilla/vanillin. A touch of clove. Flavors are of cinnamon sticks, clove, brown sugar, apple pie juiciness, apples. Pretty sweet, syrup in side the apple pie. Tons of acid and some tannins keep it relatively in check. Dessert mead for sure, but not ridiculously decadent like some of the Polish crazies. Pretty good balance of spices, maybe a touch heavy on the cinnamon. Thick, weighted mouthfeel, flat. Solid.

Bottle thanks to Dallas. Pours a dark reddish purple color, light legs. A big fruit nose, berries and a hint of heat. The flavor is sweet but not overly so, berries, not sticky, herbal tea. A light heat. Nice.

Really interesting bottle thanks to Dallas! Pours a clear yellow color. A nice rich nose of honey, floral notes and banana. The flavor is immediately full of big vanilla, some light coffee, huge honey, viscous, banana. Very good.
