Cask @ 3 Judges. Light golden colour, slightly hazy colour, short white head. Aroma is biscuit malts, fruity hops. Flavour is pine hops. Prickly citrus. Malty backbone.

Aroma is moderate malty, hay, toasted, light to moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Cask, handpump at The Mill Hotel, Chester, Cheshire, 25-04-10 Pours gold with a white head. Crisp clean beer with grapefruit showing. Nice pithy aftertaste, some furry bitterness, little bit drying, served at a nice temperature, good beer. A6 A4 F8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask at the Monks Retreat (JDW), Reading. A phenomenal mild in my opinion. Shiny black in colour with a tawny hue, and a tan head; aroma of burnt treacle; thinly bodied but with rich locorice and burnt treacle flavours; and a finish that remids me of Pontefract Cakes. Excellent.

Cask @ Counting House, JDW. Dark brown - dark red colour, small beige head. Aroma is toasted, chocolate. Flavour is roasted malts, coffee, smoke, milk chocolate. Smooth. Very drinkable.
