Can. A mild haze on this amber beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, quite light, quite dry, decent fine carbonation. Thin but smooth malts, thin creamy caramel. Mild vanilla barrel. Islay whiskey can be pretty fucken smooth, but here there is soft whiskey soaked fruits but much bigger band aid elements. Airy soft semi dry finish brings a little more alcohol spice. A tidy barleywine that just exists to serve it's barrel, but the barrel in this case, is a bit to forward in the peat department for my taste. Peat lovers will no doubt, think differently.
