Description
COAST Brewing Company is a family owned craft brewery, on an old Navy base. We make beer we like to drink, simple and done well. We believe in choice organic and local ingredients. But it's not just about being organic, it's a certain mind set of considering the environment in everything we do. In fact, we're not certified organic and have no plans to be-we do it because we believe it's the right thing. All of our ingredients are listed including which are organic. Welcome and thanks for your continued support!

Courtesy of bobby8405. Pours deep dark with copper edges and thin tan head. The aroma is a bit mild with chocolate, roastiness, black strap molasses and some malt infused earthiness. The taste is smooth with chocolate, dark roasted malts, full thick earthiness, some coffee and black strap molasses. Nice tasty brew. The flavor blends seamlessly with chocolate, dark roasted malts and earthiness.

thanks Corby, pours light gold with a solid white head. Strong cascade and herbal nose. High carbonation makes the mouth feel very light. Lots of citrus and cascade notes ending lightly bitter. Very drinkable stuff.

Draft at Brewvival: Canned peas aroma. Hazy yellow, no head. The flavor is heavily DMSed. I know that kolsch leans toward the vegetal, but this was excessive.

Draft at Brewvival: Smoky nose. Brown with a huge brown head, good lacing. Smoked flavor of rancid meat. Charred oak finish. Alcohol evident. Could pass for a rauchbier but not a good one.

22oz bottle pours a hazy, orange color with one ring of white, spitty head. Aroma is pretty nice, citrus, lemons, sweet, doughy, a little pine. Flavor is strongly bitter, lemons, grapefruit, a little bread, some light sweetness. Finish is lasting bitterness. A big IPA for sure. Could have been balanced a bit better.

Growler courtesy of bobby8405. It pours deep mahogany with tan head. The aroma is a pleasing mix of smoke, smoked bacon, roasted malts and sweet molasses. Yum. The taste starts with sweet and roasty malts moving into a combination of burnt malts and smooth smoke dried bacony pork goodness. This comes together nicely.

Bomber pours gold with a sense of haze and tiny loose white head. The aroma is sweet, grainy, modest lageriness and a touch of sweet honey. The taste seems pretty fresh and nearly crisp with sweetness, a floral hop bite, graininess, lager-y yeast and a thin layer of honey.
