Nicely made Scottish ale with a tiny bit of smoke on the end. Rather hoppy up front, but settles into a semisweet middle before heading into a dry, lingering finish. The smoke pops up on the fade, not heavy but rather a subtle suggestion that mixes nicely with the piney hops. The lack of sweetness makes me happy, and the low ABV makes me want another.
