(Cask at Market Porter, Southwark, London, 21 Nov 2008) Dark brown colour with creamy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of coffee, dark bread, dark fruit and prunes. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, prunes and dark bread. Fairly dry, medium bitterness. Nice, roasted and bready.

Cask (handpump) @ The Masque Haunt (JDW), London EC1, England.Clear light to medium amber orange color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sour vinegar notes. Flavor is moderate sweet, light bitter and sour with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat to soft. (030808)

Cask at cloisters edinburgh ... Copper brown ... woody malts ... sweet smookey woody malts ... very sligth burntness( unusual for a non black ale) ... woody bitter linger... odd but not unpleasant.
