Description
Damn Good Beer Brewed in the Centre of Cambridge:

You don’t get to call yourself a Brew House without backing it up. We do.

Right in the middle of our pub sits a working microbrewery. Vanessa runs it. She’s our Head Brewer, and she doesn’t mess around.

The taps rotate. There’s always something new. Show up and find out what’s on – your mouth’s been waiting for this.

Want to see how it’s made? Book a brewery tour or experience day. Vanessa will take you behind the scenes. You’ll sip, swirl, sniff (yeah, sniff) – and actually understand what makes beer worth drinking.

No fluff. No filler. Just damn good beer brewed the right way.

Changed name to King Street Brew House late 2025.

Tap at Old Ticket Office, Cambridge. Aroma has a sweet edge to the rye. Some haze to the amber body. Creamy white head. Light bitter with a spicy grain edge. Underlying light citrus and cardboard. Light bodied. Thin. Slick. Average carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Pretty boring stuff.

Cask at the CBH, Cambridge on 28th May 2021. Hazy amber with loose off-white foam and almost no lacing. Fruity and sweetly malty aroma. Sweet malts and berry fruits in-mouth with ripe strawberry, and banana. A sweet finish of maltiness, barleysugar and a few leafy hops. Smooth, almost watery mouthfeel and a light body.
