Tap @ Beertemple, 15 cl sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium frothy head. Aroma of piney hops, resinous, slight grainy malt. Medium bitterness, crisp, clean. Lovely sessionable beer.

Tap @ Beertemple, 15 cl sample. Slight hazy redbrown color, short frothy head. Aroma of dark fruit, some pine and a bit of chocolatey and roasty malt. Bit fruity sweetness in taste, moderate bitterness. Too much on the dark fruit for me.

(Draught at Beer Temple, Amsterdam, 22 Feb 2017) Hazy brown colour with lasting, beige head. Malty, wheaty nose with bread, chocolate, hay and banana. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of bread, banana, chocolate and a balanced citric, resiny bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. A bit odd, but tasty. Quite nice.

Tap @ Beer Temple, sample size. With Zlotta & girlfriend. Dark but not quite black color. Big beige head with good lacing. Aroma’s: resinous, pine needles. Retronasal there’s some sourness, pine, toasted. Flavor is light sweetish, light bitter, roasty. Light to medium bodied. Finishes roasted/toasted, light bitter, dry. I like it as a beer, but it’s not a great BIPA.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Pitch black with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish, moderately roasty-malty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, vanilla, quite a bit of whisky and just some coconut. Sweetish, malty, moderately roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, licorice, some coconut and lots of whisky, followed by a medium long, rather roasty-bitter, slightly warming-alcoholic finish. Medium to full body, creamy to oily mouthfeel, very soft carbonation. Very nice! I think I like the regular version a bit better though, the coconut flavour has faded too much, the mouthfeel has all but improved too.

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Pitch black with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty-malty aroma of milk chocolate, coconut, hazelnut and some vanilla. Sweetish, malty moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, nougat, hazelnut, vanilla and quite a bit of coconut, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather roasty finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty!

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Hazy, dark brown with a medium large, creamy, almost stable, beige head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy and slightly fruity aroma of overripe banana, cloves, nuts and some pear. Sweetish, rather yeasty-spicy and a little fruity taste of caramel, overripe banana, cloves, nuts and a touch of pear, followed by a short, slightly bitter, rather yeasty-spicy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy and a bit effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sweetish, slightly bitter, quite roasty-malty and slightly fruity-resiny taste of chocolate, coffee, hazelnut, pine and tropical fruits, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly resiny finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, stable, white head. Sweetish, moderately fruity and grassy-herbal aroma of passion fruit, mango and some lemongrass. Sweetish, slightly bitter, moderately fruity and slightly herbal-grassy taste of passion fruit, mango, tangerine and some lemongrass, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, grassy-herbal finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!
