(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Slightly hazy golden with a small off-white head. Delicious and somewhat peachy hop aroma. Medium body with light caramel notes and a dry and very aromatic bitterness from the Amarillo. A very delicious session beer. 190608

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of fonefan. Hazy reddish brown with a tall and lively beige head. Burned malt aroma with some vanilla. Medium-bodied with sweetish, hard roasted malts, ashes and vanilla accents. Soft mouthfeel and a discreet bitterness. 190608

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of jbrus. Very cloudy amber golden with an off-white head leaving laces. Aroma of yeast and citrusy hops. Medium body with a sweet fruitiness, yeast and phenols and then a very distinct bitter finish - somewhat astringent and leathery. I’m still not too convinced about the idea of blending Belgian yeast and American hops in the same beer. 190608

(Bottle 75 cl) Courtesy of Myrup. Hazy reddish brown with a lively, bubbly beige head. Distinct aroma of hard roasted malt, smoke and tar. Medium body with a very lively carbonation, solid burned malts, fruit and again - smoke and tar. Dry finish without any greater bitterness. Fine one. 140608

Bottled 75cl (BB 04/2009)
Hazy amber color, small white head. Strong grassy-floral hoppy aroma. Foamy mouthfeel. Grapefruity, dry hoppy flavor with pinewood plank woody notes. Another good beer from Molen. This one is perhaps just a bit too dry.

Bottled. Quite coca-cola coloured with mediumsized brown fluffy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is roasted malts, some nuts, caramel as well as salted licorice and mild sour coffeeish notes. Flavour is roasted malts, sour coffee as well as salted licorice and mild notes of caramel malts. Good porter.

Bottled. Slightly hazy amber colour with huge fluffy off-white head. Aroma is big time Amarillo with some yeast and spices along with it. Flavour is quite much the same along with tropical fruits. Very wellbalanced, and also easy to drink brew, considering the ABV, which doesn’t show too much.

Bottled. Amber colour, small yellowish white head. Aroma is interestingly floral and fruity with some grassyness as well as a nice sweetishness I haven’t come accross in other beers so far. Flavour is much the same, some slight sweetness from malts along with fruity/grassy and floral hops. A rather dry finish. A nice one from de Molen!

Tasty. Lots of oak and grain in the aroma. More oak in the flavor, with a grain flavor. It is quite dry. Nice smoke, a touch of sugar, and vanilla. No carbonation, which is fine in an English style imperial stout. Very smooth palate and from a full bodied, throat coating beer.

Twickenham Brewery tasting 08. Thanks to Ang (Reakt) for this one. Great aroma. Lovely aromatic hops. Good in mouth, thickish. Excellent fresh piney finish.
