330 ml bottle. Golden body with a small white head. Not much aroma, a bit malt and a somehow sourish in a typical pilsner manner. Flavor is pretty straight forward euro pilsner. A dash of malt, a small indication of fruitiness and somehow bitter. This bitterness emphasizes a certain feeling of being sour when this beer is sampled in the middle of an ale session. Refreshing and that’s it.

0.33L bottle. strong aromas of wheat and yeast, small head, hazy golden colour with a lot of carbonation. flavours of flowers and forest, certainly some pine and maple, pleasant and refreshing sourness at the end. This beer seems to me much more a belgian wittbier than a weizen. A big suprise and an excellent beer.

Canned. Golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is slight salts and malts along with some bittering hops. Flavour is pretty much the same. Aftertaste is quite bitter. Oily palate.

Bottle. Cloudy brown colour with a big off-white head. Aroma of cloves, green fruit and yeast. Flavour of bananas, more cloves and elderflowers. Enjoyable and not too dissimilar from the Edelweiss Hefeweizen.

Bottle. Cloudy, pale gold with a big white head. Aromas of yeast, cloves and pears. Flavour had citrus, bananas, elderflowers and more cloves. This beer had a soft finish and was very refreshing.

Light gold. Hazy. Assertive yeast - banana, bread, foot and something like a lime or kumquat citrus note. The body is somewhat thin and a bit spritzy at the back. Malt leads with banana and faint footiness. Sort of a minty herbal thing going on...maybe clover honey...but it’s fairly vague, a suggestion more than a flavour.

0.66 l bottle with a twist off cap. This version is called Zipfer classic. A golden beer with a small short-lasting white head. Stale aroma of malt with notes of hops. Very sweet malty flavor with a bit of bread. Light hop bitterness and metal in the finish. Watery and pretty thin. Rather unpleasant, I think most of this bottle is gonna go down the drain.

Bottle courtesy of Piscator34: Poured an hazy yellow/white color weizen with a huge pure white foamy head with great retention and great lacing. Aroma of banana ester if dominating with some subtle sourness. Taste is also dominated by banana ester as well as lots of wheat and finished with some subtle sourness which is too bad because everything was perfect and pointing to a magnificent weizen. It is too bad that the style doesn’t travel well because I am sure that this stuff is great when fresh. The spices aspect of it is interesting but that weizen part of this really dominate.

Cloudy golden color, short white head. Aroma of banana, some wheat, typical hefeweizen, but lots of banana and quite sweet. Slight sweet taste.
