We’re Crux Fermentation Project— housed in a former AAMCO Transmission Plant and inspired by our location right in the heart of Bend, Oregon. Our brewery is a one-of-a-kind, built for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation and barrel aging, and for leveraging the limitless possibilities that wild yeast strains and experimental hops present.

On tap at Crux - PDX, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has gentle salt, lacto, and lightly sweet cereal malt. Flavour is salty, with plenty of saline, light lacto, some coriander, and very slight hint of champagne-like effervescence. Clean and saline-like finish. It's alright.

On tap at Crux - PDX, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is fairly sweet, with sweet cereal malt, not much of the classic herbaceous notes. Flavour is crisp, with light herbaceous notes, sweet cereal, and some crisp cracker. Lacking hops and authentic helles character. Unconvincing.

16oz can from Hops & Bottles. Clear golden pour, abundant white foamy head, light lacing. Hoppy, dusty aroma, faint orange. Taste is light citrusy hops, with a little bit more bitterness and notes of citrus oil. Doesn't quite come together for me

Aromas are clean, fresh, malty, hoppy adjunct pale lager. Flavors are similar to nose, slightly more sweet than bitter and with decent carbonation to balance. Very drinkable but nothing special.
