Orange color, cloudy. Creamy head, disappearing slowly. vanilla and yeast aroma and flavor. Some hops, but yeast overshadows other flavors. Not a pleasure to drink.

LCRBM "afterparty" Kulminator Antwerp. Horseblanket and hops in the aroma, an odd mix. Citrus flavor, immediately flowing into a clear hop character. What a strange beer: I couldn’t decide if it was balanced or unbalanced. I really can’t believe this beer was 11%. Tripel is 8%, Lambic 5 or 6, this couldn’t add up to 11%, or can it?? 2007 bottle, tasted july 2017. Deep golden color. Brett, lemon and honey in the aroma: the lambic has taken total control of the aroma. Not of the flavor, however. Malty sweetish, honeyish flavor with brett and lemon sweets. The carbon has almost gone. Over the hill but still quite pleasurable.

Bottle. Clear red color. Soft cherry aroma. Initial cherry flavor, almost vinous, with cherry pits, oak, marzipan and leather. Bitter walnuts. Plastic. Bone dry, but surprisingly thin and watery. A bit disappointing.

4 May 2019. At Heeren van Liedekercke. Cheers to Anke's birthday! Pours hazy ochre with a lasting, small, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of yeast tablet, unripe banana & pear, apple peel, old bread, wet hay. Taste is light fruity sweet, apple & pear, faint estery banana, white sugary character, very bready & yeasty with spicy bitter tones of grass, straw & dull grain. Dry, yeasty, slightly grassy hoppy finish, lingering grain, bread, subtle fruit. Medium body, slick-creamy texture, fizzy carbonation. Dull all the way, but drinkable.

0.375l bottle vintage 2017. Hazy orange body with a loose but lasting head. The aroma is quite funky. It has notes of peach, apples, vinegar, sugar syrup and a bit of lemon zest. Taste of sugar syrup, vinegar, lemon zest, grapefruit, apples and a bit of mold. Medium body with a high carbonation. The finish has a long grapefruit-like bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle at a tasting. Lightstruck is real in this beer. Rather light sourness. Earthy, grassy character. Alcohol hidden well at least, but overall this beer is curiously thin, kinda characterless. Still quite good.
