Poured from 330mL bottle (bb 01 Dec 2006; from the fiulijnator cellar). Medium dark brown with small off white head. Nice belgian yeasts with gentle dark fruits and candi sugars, a little thin bodied, oxidation is surprisingly minimal. Okay.

Tavour: pours golden with a white foamy head. Aroma is floral, fruity, lightly funky, with some minerals in there. Taste is slightly sour, light bitterness, booze is well covered. Interesting.

Bottle.

A- Golden orange color, slightly hazy liquid, white head.

A- Funky, grapefruit, bright, faint plastic, Brett, mild oak.

F- Funk, oak, white wine, citrus, slightly musty, faint bitterness.

T- Light body, average texture, average carbonation, bright finish.

O- A bit of a dry white wine. Not bad. Fair amount of funk. Might like it better with a bit more age. Had the 2022 at 3 years of age.

Bottle at home. Aroma is malt, yeast, raisins, caramel, fruity notes, nuts, some brown sugar and dark chocolate, a certain spicy note. Flavour is medium sweet with a surprisingly bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very nice, I like how the bitterness compliments the sweet flavour.
