Weak smell of shit. Clear brown, thin yellow head. Alcohol very noticeable and distracting. Overly sweet malt and maple syrup. I try to be open minded and onjective with this brewery, but I just haven’t enjoyed anything I’ve had from them.

Bottle from Utobeer. Very deep clear dark brown almost black with lasting beige head. Strong syrupy malty aroma. Malty flavour continues into the mouth with then maple syrupy flavour on the finish. It’s sweetish but quite nutty and maple syrupy. Fine.

355ml bottle from Utobeer. Very hazy reddish russet colour with lasting beige head. Slight toffee aroma. OK, this isn’t very good. Touch of vinegar on the aroma suggests either age or infection. Yes, not much better in the mouth, touch of toffee maple syrup and slight touch of vinegar. Light carbonation sting on the finish. It’s just not quite right and not really great either. Bit disappointing.

355ml bottle from Utobeer. Drunk after a shift and a half at work. Hazy orange gold colour, thinnest of thin white heads. Some American hops on aroma, sweet grapefruit. Bit of toffee. It’s not much of a wheat beer to be honest more like a APA for my money. Touch of cereal perhaps. I do rather like the hops over a very easy drinking slightly watery body. Fine. Good aperatif beer.

Bottle from Oak Tree. Pours dark brown/black with a creamy tan head. The aroma is Hershey’s cocoa. Like when I sniffed the old containers. Whoa! Yogi Berra thing. Med body. Mild carb. Flavor is dusty cocoa over some some smooth burnt malt. More dry than not in the finish. Unique.

355ml bottle from Utobeer. Hazy old gold colour with lasting white head. It’s an ok lager, quite drinkable I thought, good cereal fullness in the mouth. Touch of stale chaff. Good mouthfeel. If I had a regular lager like this in Ashford I’d be buggeringly delighted. I liked this. Drinkable

16oz bottle-pours a retaining rich tan head with trailing lace and black color that has some cascading. Aroma is rich dark malt/oat/grain-cocoa/bready overtaken by resin hops. Taste is sweet medium/dark malt/grainy/rye-roasty, balanced with pine/resin/grapefruit hops with some bite. Medium body. OK effervescence. I’mtorn on the aroma, so in memory (or in honor) of dak…10.
