11th October 2008. GABF. The honey is Colorado wild flower honey. Hazy dark brown beer with a definite floral note from the honey. Chocolate and and other interesting things that are hard to pin down. Dry palate. A bit different.

Bottle: Bright copper pour with a finger of creamy beige head. Citrus and floral hops fill the nose. Tastes more floral than of citrus, lingering bitters in the tail. Light amount of maltiness and that same fruity element as the other TK brews, but easily one of the better ones.

Bottle: Light amber color with a modest sandy head. Faint aroma is malty, but has this odd scent that I relate to Elmers’ Glue. Flavor is sweet and malty with a little fruitiness. Finishes dry and almost chalky. Fuck! More Elmers... I just couldn’t get past the odd gluey thing going on here.

Bottle: Nice color is between auburn and amber, with a small beige head. Sweet aroma is instant after popping the cap. Maple is clearly evident, it reminds me of maple syrup and toast. Toffee and nuts. Tastes overtly sweet with maple and retains a malty backbone. Some toasty and nutty notes too. If you like maple syrup on your toast, dig in.

Bottle: Clear golden with a finger of creamy white head. Faint aroma is malty. Crisp wheat in the taste at first, but mellows out quickly with a fruity and maltiness. Becomes rather dull quickly.

Bottle: Pours a stunning amber pour with a thin beige head. Rich aroma is sweet with caramel, raisons, and candied sugar. Malty taste with more raisons, candied sugar, and toffee. Lingering finish is malty and somewhat dry. Good.

Bottle: Light, bubbly golden color with a finger of creamy white head. Light nose is florals and malt... not bad. Tastes again floral and malty, but a little cardboardy in the end. Still, a premium lager? Better than the BMC alternatives.

Bottle. Pours a hazy light amber with a small white head. Light aroma of lemon, spices, caramel and some wheat. A thin flavor of lemon, yeast and wheat. Almost no aftertaste, a boring beer.
