Draught at Bishop's Arms, Malmö, Gustav Adolf Torg; Jan 2014
Hazy golden color with creamy head. Hop aroma, a bit smelly. Full bodied; the malt flavor is quite sweet; earthy, manure, and with some animal character; there is some fruitiness from yellow fruits; strong bitterness with pleasant hop resins. Mellow double IPA, I wouldn't drink too much of it.
Not bad, but a bit strange.

Bottle (backlog 2014). Dark amber body with a small, lacing beige head. Aroma is mild caramel and a bit fruity. Flavor is is mild, soft, dark malt, hint of toast, fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium body and a bit light in aftertaste. Decent, but not particular exiting and rather close to a Brown ale.

Bottle marked BB Aug 2017, sampled June 2017. Probably not completely fair to rate but it tastes actually quite nice so I just have to imagine some more hop aroma in a fresh version. Clear golden like a pilsner with some sediment that makes the last pour cloudy. Medium sized white head. Both aroma and flavor has a certain malt flavor that reminds me of a typical lager e.g. a bit “harder” than normally found in an ale. The hops is much more smoother and soft fruity, peach with hint of flowers in the aroma. Would love to smell this from a fresher bottle, it’s not bad at all, but I guess it would be quite lovely. Otherwise it’s medium sweet with a fine but not particular strong bitterness. Medium body and decent aftertaste. Nothing extraordinary really but nice and pleasant.

750 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken (a couple years ago). ABV is 10.5%. Black colour, large tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and roast malts, hints of liquorice. Some dusty notes too. Flavour of liquorice, tar, coffee and dark bitter chocolate, also bittering hops. Warming throatfeel. Has kept well - good beer.
