Tap at Mad for Beer (Rome). Amber dark semi clear, ivory foam little retention. Nose is apple, peat, caramel. Mouth is quite round, sweet feel of sipping a spirit.

On tap @Mad for Beer (Rome). Ambrata carica, bruna, con riflessi rossicci, schiuma bianca media, molto persistente. Al naso sentori di malto, caramello, sciroppo di zucchero, nota torbata potente, alcol. In bocca è dolce all'attacco con finale torbato incisivo. Corpo medio-alto, carbonazione media. Non male.

Bottle shared at Takanoya. Murky brown with lace. Nose is pine, malt, caramel, some lemon. Sweet caramel and pine flavor, rather bland and amateurish. Almost flat but with a bit of spritz.

Keg at Mother Kelly’s VHX, 23/08/17. Orange amber with a big old light beige cap. Nose is sweet malts, biscuit, light red berry whisper, strawberry cheesecake. Taste comprises caramel, biscuit, more bitter than the nose suggested, fruit esters, red berry snap, toasted grains, light brown sugar redux. Medium bodied, fine carboanton, semi drying close doused in mellow earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough amber.
