Cask at Nags Head Bishops Stortford. Golden caramel with a solid head. Aroma is light malt. Flavour is caramel and malt, dry bittersweet finish with a little fruit thrown in.

Cask in Nags Head Bishops Stortford. Aroma is a sharp, a little vinegar. Clean but colour with a solid head. Flavour is malty, very smooth, Korea pint of mild than an IPA.

50cl bottle from Morrisons. An amber pour with no head, but high carbonation; malty aroma; over pasteurised with a caramel taste; and a biscuity finish. Instantly forgetable.

Sampled @ GBBF. Clear golden color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, decently bitter, a hint of caramel, slightly butter, slightly some fruitiness. Average body and carbonation. Ok beer.

Cask at the 2014 GBBF. Golden coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is mineral, straw and English yeast, touch of sulphur. Flavour is diacetyl, stale biscuity caramel malts, light spicy hop. Palate is semi crisp,grainy dull beer.

Cask at the Heron on the Lake, Fleet. A plain and ordinary pale ale. Pale amber in colour with a loose white head; biscuity malt aroma; thin, malty body; and a biscuity finish - no hops in sight. Nothing to recommend this at all.

Cask @ White Lion, Heptonstall. Slightly hazed golden ale with a thin head. It’s a crisp ale with a small dry hop evident in its texture. Not blessed with much flavour.
